THE LAST DEPUTY is based on true events in the life of Arthur Moore King, a Los Angeles Policeman between 1900 and 1909. With the lost of his job, he became a "private policeman" (bounty hunter). He joins forces with Frontier Lawman Wyatt Earp. Together they work for the Los Angeles Police Department seeking out escaped prisoners.  The story ends in 1912 with Wyatt Earps last armed confrontation.
